We envision a church where every believer is fully equipped and empowered to live out God's calling in their life.
At Citylight, we see the pastoral role not as doing all the work ourselves, but as coming alongside God's people to help them discover and use their gifts (Ephesians 4:12-13). Our goal is to guide and encourage each person to minister in their families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and beyond — so that the whole body grows strong, healthy, and fully alive in Christ.
Our leadership's commitment to the body is to provide the necessary, tangible, applicable tools a follower of Jesus needs to grow in their walk with the Lord and minister to others. We look forward to moving beyond mere mental knowledge of God toward obedient, Christlike living, faithfully reflecting His presence in the world.
